The Azerbaijan Chess Federation (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Şahmat Federasiyası, AŞF) is the governing chess organization in Azerbaijan and is affiliated to FIDE.[1] The Azerbaijan Chess Federation was founded in 1927, and became a member of the FIDE in 1992.[2]

Dr. Elman Rustamov is the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation since 2007.[3]
