Octopus macropus

Octopus macropus, also known as the Atlantic white-spotted octopus, white-spotted octopus,[1] grass octopus or grass scuttle, is an octopus species native to at least the Mediterranean Sea.[1] A similar octopus from the Caribbean Sea has sometimes been identified as O. macropus, although the relationship between the two taxa remains unresolved.[1]

O. macropus grows to 15 cm in mantle length with the long arms exceeding 1 m.[1]
