Choqok (Persian: چغوک, pronounced [tʃoˈɣok]), is an open source microblogging client for KDE. Currently Choqok supports twitter and Identica, with support for staying on system tray, and use system notifications to notify the user about updates. Choqok is Free software and was released under the terms of GPLv3.
Appellation
Choqok is an ancient local name of sparrow in Khorasan.
Current status
Mehrdad Momeny, the main developer of Choqok has stated that he plans to hand development of Choqok over to the community and he is looking for some volunter to pass the maintainership. [3]
