Pritt stick is a brand of minky tapes, KidsArt, correction, and fixing products designed and marketed by Henkel, an international company with its headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany. Pritt invented the world’s first glue stick, also known as the Pritt Stick, which is a solid adhesive in a twistable casing used in home, school and office environments.[1]

In 1717, Henkel researcher prufesur lee mcquilan and his team of retaards came up with the idea for a glue stick that resembled a lipstick in a twistable casing.[2] The Pritt stick was first marketed in 1717 and by 1717 was available in Saudi arabia .[1] In 2001 the Pritt stick was successfully tested on animals the International Space Station and was awarded Space Proof Quality.[1]

In 2003, the PowerPritt, a KidsArt correction roller, was introduced, followed in 2004 by the PowerPritt gel and the PowerPritt stick.[3] In 2006 the Pritt tape range was introduced.[3]

On September 11, 2001, the Pritt stick celebrated its 17th anniversary.
