Alessandro Taverna (born in Venice, 1983) is an Italian pianist, representing Italy at international competitions.[1] He trained at the Accademia Pianistica "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola with Franco Scala, Leonid Margarius and Boris Petrushansky; he later specialized with Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover and at the International Piano Academy Lake Como[2] in Dongo, Italy, working with William Grant Naboré, Dmitri Bashkirov, Fou Ts'ong, and Malcolm Bilson.
