Kathleen M. Peters (born February 27, 1961) is a member of the Florida House of Representatives (elected in 2012), former mayor of South Pasadena, Florida (2009–2012) and former member of the South Pasadena City Commission in 2008. Peters was a Republican candidate in Florida's 13th congressional district special election, 2014, but lost in the Republican Primary to David Jolly.

Peters was born in Northbrook, Illinois. She received an A.A. from St. Petersburg College and a B.A. in Human Development from Eckerd College. Peters is Catholic and an outdoor enthusiast.[1] She is a member of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg, served on the South Pasadena Planning and Zoning Board board of directors from 2006–2008 and was a Princess of the Queen of Hearts Royal Court for her community service work in 2005.[1] She resides in South Pasadena. Peters and her husband have four children and four grandchildren.
