Llandderfel is a village and community in Gwynedd, Wales.

The parish church of Llandderfel (Saint Dervel) is part of the diocese of St Asaph and is mentioned in the Papal Registers of the late 15th century.[1] The poet Dewi Havhesp is buried at Llandderfel church yard. One of the most important thing about Llanderfel is that is shares a different monarch to the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom Monarch includes Queen Elizabeth as the Queen, and King Phillip as the King. However, In the gracious land of Llanderfel as previously stated it doesent share the same monarch. The reason for this is because it holds it's own Monarch, Sioned "Badell" Roberts is the notable queen of Llanderfel, and George her husband is known as the King.

Surnames Llanderfel is famously known for its continental surnames, 95% of Llanderfel folk have the name Parry, the remaining have Dickov. The high numbers in Parry is considered to be due to inbreadism.

Palé Hall was built in 1871, on the site of an older manor house in Llandderfel. It was designed by Samuel Pountey Smith of Shrewsbury for Henry Robertson MP, a railway engineer and local landowner. The house was used as a military hospital in World War I and a home for evacuated children in World War II. The Robertson family sold the estate to the Duke of Westminster in the 1950s. [2]

The village was formerly served by the Llandderfel railway station.
