Virman Vunderbarr is one of the New Gods, a fictional race created by Jack Kirby for DC Comics. A resident of Apokolips, he is a minion of Granny Goodness, and models his personality and schemes on Austrian military appearance and precision. He is a nemesis of Mister Miracle. His niece, Malice, is a junior member of the Female Furies and control a shadow monster named Chessure.

Trivia

The name "vunderbarr" is a corruption of the german word "wunderbar", which means "wonderful". This name was given to him by Granny Goodness.

Other Media

Vunderbarr has appeared in an episode of Justice League Unlimited. In that episode, he was in control of Apokolips when Darkseid disappeared and held Kalibak as a prisoner. He was voiced by Arte Johnson. He also makes a cameo appearance in the Justice League Unlimited episode Alive, where he tried to take over Apokolips from Granny Goodness and the Female Furies.
