Josh Ovens (born 11 July 1989 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England) is a rugby union player for Bath in the Aviva Premiership.[1] He plays as a back-row. He enjoyed a spell on loan to Bristol in the Aviva Championship, but has signed a deal with Bath since then. Josh has resigned on a one year deal back to Bristol Rugby after almost 2 years recovering from a potentially career-ending back injury in 2012. Josh returned to the field versus Clifton RFC in an August pre-season friendly.[2]

Bildung

Ovens was educated at the Prep School of Monkton Combe School,[3] a boarding independent school for pupils up to the age of 13 in Combe Down, a village suburb of the city of Bath in Somerset in South West England, followed by Milton Abbey School,[4][5] a boarding independent school in the village of Milton Abbas, near the market town of Blandford Forum in Dorset (also in South West England).

Family

Ovens' first cousin is Lawrence Ovens.
