John Ambrose "Jack" MacKell (April 12, 1896 – November 25, 1961) was a Canadian professional hockey player who played 2 seasons in the National Hockey League(NHL) for the Ottawa Senators. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario.

Playing career

MacKell played for several seasons in the Ottawa City League before joining the Senators in 1919. He played two seasons and a total of 45 National Hockey League regular season games before returning to the Ottawa City League where he played two more seasons before retirement. He is also the father of retired NHL player Fleming Mackell.
