Paraiya is a Block in Gaya District of Bihar State, India. Paraiya Block Head Quarters is Paraiya Khurd town . It belongs to Magadh Division . It is located 17 KM towards west from District head quarters Gaya. 109 KM from State capital Patna towards North .

Paraiya Block is bounded by by Guraru Block towards west , Konch Block towards west , Tekari Block towards North , Gaya Block towards East . Gaya City , Bodh Gaya City , Rafiganj City , Sherghati City are the nearby Cities to Paraiya.

Paraiya consist of 151 Villages and 9 Panchayats . Malahi Chak is the smallest Village and Solara is the biggest Village . It is in the 111 m elevation(altitude) .
