The Portland metropolitan area is a fairlly large urban area centered in northern oregon (Multnomah,parts of Washington,Yamhill, and Clackamas county) and southern washington (Clark County). It is Oregon's most important urban center and is it's main hub for trade, transportation, and business. Altogether it is about 550 to 600 sq mi. of urbanized land area. Primary Cities:
