Pleine Vie is a French language monthly general interest and women's magazine published in Paris, France.

History and profile

Pleine Vie was established in 1997.[1] The founder was Antoine Adam[2] and the magazine was part of Groupe Taitbout.[3] In July 1999 the magazine was acquired by the British media firm EMAP.[2][4] The current owner is Mondadori France,[5] a subsidiary of the Italian media group Mondadori.[1][6]

Pleine Vie is published monthly.[3][5] The magazine offers articles towards women over 50s[3] and is edited by Jeanne Thiriet.[1]

Circulation

The 1999 circulation of Pleine Vie was 823,000 copies.[4] In 2000 the magazine had a circulation of 1,021,000 copies.[7]

During the 2007-2008 period the circulation of Pleine Vie was 913,000 copies.[8] It had a circulation of 854,000 copies in 2009[9] and 854,366 copies in 2010.[10] In 2012 the magazine had a circulation of 786,650 copies.[1] In the period of 2013-2014 the circulation of the monthly was 786,515 copies, making it the second best-selling general interest magazine in France.[5] Its circulation was 703,909 copies in 2014.[11]
