The Atlantis Quartet was originally formed in the Twin Cities by guitarist Zacc Harris and drummer Pete Hennnig, followed by reed player Brandon Wozniak and bassist Chris Bates, after recording their first album with bassist Travis Schilling.[1] They have toured throughout the midwest and in New York, and performed at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival and the Iowa City Jazz Festival. Though their records have focused on original compositions by all members, between 2008 and 2011 the quartet performed annual Halloween shows in which they interpreted other artists' albums, including Coltrane's A Love Supreme, Hancock's Headhunters, Rollins' The Bridge, and Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy.[1]
