I cant believe no one has written any discussion on Rolie Polie Olie. I think the program is great. It reminds me of Happy Days. mastoyshop

Theme tune
A question worth investigating... Is voice in the theme tune computer generated? I suspect so, and don't recall seeing anyone being credited with the song (of course I may just have missed the credit.) Paul-b4 08:14, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Original air dates are probably bad
Just a heads-up here that many of the original air dates for episodes in this article have probably been compromised. An IP editor with a questionable track record recently tampered with some of the dates. When I went to revert to a clean version, I discovered that many of the dates were bad to begin with (compared against other online sources), because many of them had been added by a different IP editor with an even worse history of falsifying information. I don't have the interest or patience to go through and proofread every date in the article, but perhaps someone else will. AtticusX (talk) 06:28, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

The movie of "Roly Poly Olie and the Great Defenders of fun"- When the ropy poly galaxy is threatened by the bitter, malevolent and crotchety pirate robot, Gloomeus Maximus (whose name is pun of "Gloom" and "Gluteus Maximus" ) who plots to make the entire "galaxy of fun" into a gloomy, lethargic intergalactic wasteland like the dreary Galaxy of Gloom. Back on Poly Planet, everyone is excited on the preparations of Zowie's birthday party. Olie wants to give an extraordinary birthday present for his sister, by using his dad's latest invention, the Handy-Dandy Energy Refibulator, a ray that can energize anything with positive energy/or emotion, he and Billy create a bubble blower squirt gun into a Super Silly ray, which produces bubbles that make anything and anyone happy and exuberant. Gloomeus Maximus gets a hold of one of the invites to Zowie's Birthday party when it accidentally flies intro space. Because he hates birthday parties, mostly because he never had one, Maximus decides to make Zowie's birthday as miserable as possible. Unfortunately for the evil pirate, Olie, along with the help of his friends and his idol, Spaceboy, are willing to protect Zowie's fun by using the power of happiness, joy and laughter, out of inspirition from stories of Willy and Wally Jolly, two brothers who are considered to be the "Greatesest Defenders of Fun" and superhero idols of Uncle Gizmo and Mr. Poly when they were kids. After foiling many of Gloomeus's schemes, from trying to "gloomerate" the entire poly planet with a ultrapowerful beam and kidnapping Zowie and Pappy in an attempt to "gloomerate" Pappy, whose "Pappy gear" was busted at one part of the movie, everyone in Polyville are ready to have Zowie's party. However, Gloomeus, still at large and determined to not fail, makes one last, almost successful attempt by towing the entire poly planet to the galaxy of gloom. While Billy nearly succumbs to depression, Olie's determination and faith brings everyone to their feet, with the extra help from Willy and Wally Jolly. Olie manages to subdue Gloomeus by showering him with fun ray bubbles from the super silly ray. Gloomeus, intoxicated by the power of the super silly bubbles, releases the planet and is invited to the party by the compassionate Zowie, getting the chance to experience to be part of a party and learns to be kind. The film ends happily with Gloomeus and his crew saying kindly farewell to the Polyes as Billy congratulates Olie as the "Best defender of fun in the whole universe".

Zo
Zowie (pronounced like Zoey) is often nicknamed "Zo" in the show. Should we mention this?
- Polie, Mr. "Just Putting Around". Rolie Polie Olie. 3 minutes in.
Let me give you a couple of pointers, Zo.
That work for a ref? Also any references for parents' forenames being Percy and Polina? 64.228.91.102 (talk) 21:41, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
