Tara Vaitiere Hoyos-Martínez (born 28 March 1990 in London) is an English beauty pageant titleholder who, while representing London, was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2010, becoming the first Hispanic to win, as she is of Colombian descent.[1] She then represented Great Britain in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, held on 23 August 2010 in Las Vegas, United States. She did not progress beyond the preliminary first round. Contrary to popular belief this was not the first time that two Colombian women (Hoyos-Martínez and Colombia's Natalia Navarro) participated in the pageant's history because the contestants that represented Colombia (Valerie Domínguez) and Germany in the 2006 edition were both of Colombian ancestry.

Hoyos-Martinez was born to Colombian parents.[1][2][3][4]
