Alice Vrielink

Alice Vrielink is the Head of Discipline in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Western Australia. Her research has been widely cited by peers in biochemistry and molecular biology.[1] She has a membership for: Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Asian Crystallographic Society (Web Secretary), Society of Crystallographers of Australia and New Zealand (Vice President), and International Union of Crystallographers.[2]

Biography

Professor Alice Vrielink got Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Masters of Science in Physical Chemistry at the University of Calgary in Canada.[3] Then, she got a PhD in Physics and a Diploma in Crystallography in University of London and Imperial College of Science and Technology, respectively. She then became an Assistant and Associate Professor at McGill University in Canada from 1994 to 2001.[4] Even after, she continued her research as a Research Professor at the University of California and then joined the faculty at UWA as Professor of Structural Biology in 2007.[5]
