Made in EU (also Made in the EU and Made in Europe ) is a designation of origin that has been established since 2003 by the European Commission.

Made in the EU is not obligatory as an indication for European products instead of the country designation, but intended as a replacement in the long run.

CE marking

As products manufactured in the European Union are required to have CE marking, as products labelled "Made in EU" automatically also have to fulfil the requirements for CE marking.
