Amit Prakash Sharma is an Indian biologist. He holds a position at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Delhi.

In 2011, he was awarded the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, the highest science award in India, in the biological sciences category,[1]
