Aim: to improve the quality and readability of Wikipedia mathematics pages.

Principles

[edit]
  • Keep it simple. Explain things as simply as possible with the minimum of technical language, using plain English wherever possible, especially at the top of the article.
  • Keep it short and to the point. Don't confuse the issue by discussing related but different concepts.
  • Include a simple example.
  • A picture is often worth a thousand words in explaining a mathematical concept.
