Contrepoints is a French news website, founded in 2009. The name of the newspaper is a reference to Contrepoint, a now-defunct newspaper launched by French philosopher Raymond Aron.

Contrepoints' editorial stance is to cover current news with a classical liberal mindset. Contrepoints publishes op-eds and articles from various authors close to clasical liberal ideas, such as Robert Barro, Jacques Garello, Yvon Gattaz, Charles Gave, Daniel Hannan, Alain Laurent, Bertrand Lemennicier, Alain Madelin, Philippe Nemo, Yoani Sánchez, Philippe Simonnot, Pierre Chappaz or Guy Sorman.

According to French newspaper Le Monde, it's one of the most well-known libertarian websites in France[1][2].

The website is developed by a French non-profit organization called Liberaux.org, which is financed by advertising and donations from readers[3] and doesn't accept public subsidies[4].

Contrepoints has been awarded a Templeton Freedom Awards by the Atlas Economic Research Foundation in 2012[5].
