Biography

Lauer attended Belmont College to study string arranging. After touring for ten years, Lauer worked as a songwriter, and began playing recording sessions. This led to production and work in advertising and television.[1]

Lauer has worked with Robin Zander,[2] Robert Plant, The Civil Wars, Blake Shelton, Shawn Mendes, Megadeth, Chris Cornell, Taylor Swift,[3] and others.

As Executive Music Producer of the Nashville television show, Lauer is responsible for song selection and studio recording production,[1] and has also composed songs used in the show.[4]
