Zoë Chao is an Asian-American actress and writer from Rhode Island, prominently known for her role as Isobel in Strangers.
Early life
“My mom is Caucasian [and has] Irish-English roots from Ohio," Chao says about her ancestry. "My dad is Chinese. My grandmother moved to Michigan from China when she was 7, pre-Cultural Revolution.” Chao has also stated that she grew up in a family of visual arts.[1]
Personal life
During the filming of Strangers, Chao had to move from New York to Los Angeles.
Chao is openly bisexual.
