Master Editor Hello, Nhl4hamilton! I noticed you display a service award, and would like to invite you to join the discussion over a proposed revamping of the awards.

A request for Hamilton "streets"

I've renamed the article List of streets in Hamilton, Ontario to List of roads in Hamilton, Ontario, as is used with Toronto and Ottawa. All the roads with articles have a hatnote saying to see the list, but this should be in the See also section instead. I'm doing a LOT to try and get these articles up to snuff, so I was just wondering if you still watch those articles if you could take a look if you have a chance. Cheers, ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 00:25, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request

Hi

I'm from wp.fr and working on Cleveland Barons. Do you think you can upload File:Cleveland Barons.JPG on Commons?

Thanks for your help.

Possibly unfree File:Babe Dye.JPG

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Babe Dye.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. File source problem with File:Babe Dye.JPG

Thank you for uploading File:Babe Dye.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:13, 1 October 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 05:13, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
  • If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! Acalamari 21:16, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to alert you to some controversy brewing. Are you any good with CSS? Ng.j (talk) 23:05, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently we need Cascading style sheets for the template. I thought you might like to give it a go? The template looks really boring now. You can start here: Help:Cascading style sheets Ng.j (talk) 22:09, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Beverly Golf & Country Club has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:CORP.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rick Cordeiro, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page City of Hamilton. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New 10,000 Challenge for Canada

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada/The 10,000 Challenge is up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. If you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Canada like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1600 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for Canada but fuelled by a contest such as The North America Destubathon to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. I would like some support from Canadian wikipedians here to get the Challenge off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile! Cheers. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
