I've had this account for a long time, but my user name has been a red link for about eight years. I'm changing this so it doesn't look like I'm a newly registered user. I do my best to fight vandalism and block evasion, and also try my best to maintain a certain level of readability for the pages on my watchlist.
My user name Aoi (青い) means "blue" in Japanese (used in this form as an adjective). I chose it as my user name because blue was my favorite color at the time I joined Wikipedia. Since then, my color preference has shifted towards the color green, but that is OK because the word "Aoi" can also refer to green. For a more complete explanation, see Ao (color).
