List Article

This article is intended mainly as a list. For descriptions about what the medals were issued for, and other trivia, I ask everyone to create a link to a new article and put the iforamtion there. Thank you for your cooperation! -Husnock 26Jan05

The image Image:Grandcross.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The following images also have this problem:

I reinstated the images of the Grand Cross and the Star of the Grand Cross. They are low resolution, and illustrate the subject in question which, to my knowledge, cannot be done with other images. The fair use rationale is also on the image pages (click on the image to get there). It seems the bot made a mistake. Bigdan201 (talk) 04:49, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the template placed by Chicbyaccident but the discussion does not appear to have been opened, so I'm starting it here.

  • Support merge. It seems that there's a lot of duplication between the two articles. K.e.coffman (talk) 00:12, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support with a caveat. There is some overlap, true, but, the format and layout of the military decorations article should be kept. The presentation and detail is much better therein for readers. Some of the text from this article should be inserted. The name of the other article should be used as a re-direct to here. Kierzek (talk) 18:37, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Neutral: If it happens, the original list directing to all of the various Nazi award branch articles (political, military, civil, unbestowed, etc) should be incorporated. This was originally a list article after all. -O.R.Comms 18:39, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support with stipulations as per Kierzek. The Orders article is double info from the list, totally incomplete and therefore highly misleading. ...GELongstreet (talk) 22:53, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: While the merge was completed, it wasn't really done properly. One article was simply cut and pasted to the bottom of the other, now with two menu sections, references, etc. It should be more properly merged if we are going to do it this way. -O.R.Comms 16:17, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
