Paris Photo is an international art fair of photography held annually in Paris, France in early November. The first Paris Photo art fair was in 1997. The fair is held in the Carrousel du Louvre, the large underground exhibition space and shopping mall attached to the Louvre museum. In 2006, public attendance was 40,000.

Every year, Paris Photo invites a selected country or region (2006: Spain; 2007: Scandinavia) to promote their native artists. The festival also has a jury prize associated with a theme (2007: "Pleasure, Distilled") awarded to the artist whose work best expresses the theme (in 2007, this prize – sponsored by BMW – was 12,000 euros).
