Elgin Review
Appearance
Established in 1897 as a weekly non-partisan publication.[1]
Between 1936 and 1946 it was published by Val Peterson who sold the paper after becoming Governor of Nebraska.[2]
In October 1947 George F. Voorhies purchased the Elgin Review. He was editor and publisher until his retirement Jan. 1, 1978.[3]
In 1978, the paper was passed to the Dickersons.[4]
Listed as collected by the State Historical Society in 1907 (pull info).[5]
