View of Pleasant Mountain

Pleasant Mountain is located in Bridgton, Maine, USA. Shawnee Peak Ski Area is located on the north side of the mountain. The northern slope of the Pleasant Mountain is also the highest point in Cumberland County, Maine. Pleasant Mountain's trail network, managed by Loon Echo Land Trust, offers a variety of moderately challenging day hikes.

Much of Pleasant Mountain is under permanent conservation. Loon Echo Land Trust owns 2,064 acres on the mountain and protects an additional 24 acres through conservation easements. The Nature Conservancy protects 1,400 acres on the western slopes through a conservation easement, and the Maine Forest Service owns 20 acres at the main summit.
