Haribhau Madhav Jawale (born 1 June 1953) is a politician from northern Maharashta.he is Agriculturist, Silent, Experienced, Visionary [citation needed] but low profile leader of Bharatiya Janata Party political party. He hails from Jalgaon district in the Khandesh region of Maharashtra state.He is the promoter of the "Mega Recharge Scheme : Asia's largest groundwater artificial recharge project " Haribhau Jawale is a silent and low profile leader who has won the elections in very critical conditions with record break victory.Haribhau also ideated the project of rejuvenation of 14 rivers in YawAl & Raver ( Dist Jalgaon) Maharashtra through community participation .He then devoted this project to all the spiritual Gurus and started working as A volunteer.The blessings of all Spiritual Gurus like a Mahamandaleshwar Janardan Maharaj,Vakaranacharya Shastri Bhakti Prakash Das ji,Shastri Bhakti Kishordas ji ,Aacharya Chaitanya Maharaj,Aacharya Manekar baba,Aacharya Dhanraj Maharaj and all other Sant /Mahants and spirit of community has helped this movement to be become one of the largest water percolation & conservation apolitical movement in Maharashtra. He is a leader who has proposed & started follow ups Mega Recharge Scheme on Tapi river in Satpura (Jalgaon ) to increase the under ground water level in the area . He requested GoI to take a"Farm Approach Road " project to reduce the losses in Agriculture output handling / post harvesting.[citation needed] Haribhau is also known for his simple nature ,attachment and contribution for water,Agriculture and Farmers and hence the people from opposition parties also love him and support in his each endeavour.
Political career
Jawale was a member of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha from 1999-2004. He was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha in April, 2007 in a by-election from Jalgaon constituency in Maharashtra. He was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from Raver constituency in Maharashtra. In March 2014, Jawale was re-nominated for 16th Lok Sabha from Raver constituency, but a week after BJP changed its nomination to Raksha Khadse.[1] In October 2014, he contested for 2014 Maharashtra State Assembly election from Raver Vidhan Sabha constituency[2] and defeated his nearest rival, Shirish Chaudhari of INC, by margin of 10,000 votes. Jawale got 65,962 votes, while Chaudhari got 55,962 votes.Haribhau Jawale is a silent leader who has won the elections in very critical conditions made the records . He has initiated most innovative projects in Agriculture : Banana products & Irrigation : Flood Canal Scheme :One of the largest under ground water project in Asia.
