Policies to fight the contagion

At various moments, the Czech government has banned flights to China, North Italian towns, and Korea, and banned the issuing of the visas for the Iranians.

People (first citizens, then also temporary residents) who returned from Italy had to self-quarantine themselves for two weeks (pilots, truck drivers, and some medical personnel were granted exceptions by the minister of health). Temperature checks are applied at the airports and since March 7th, randomly at the border, too. The main public health officer speaks to every positively diagnosed patient and lists of people whom the patients could have infected are being assembled, investigated, and quarantined.
