Cornerstone Church of San Diego is a non-denominational, charismatic megachurch located in National City, California.

History

The church was founded in 1999 by Sergio José de la Mora (born 1966). He and his wife, Georgina de la Mora, are the senior pastors. The church averages about 4,000 people in attendance each week.[1] The church was recognized by Outreach magazine as being the 3rd fastest growing church in America during the year 2009.[1]

Events and broadcasts

The church hosts an annual "Heart Revolution Conference".[2] Speakers at the 2010 conference include Hezekiah Walker, Tim Storey, Ed Young, Jr., and Steven Furtick.[2] In 2010, the church hosted Ed Young, Jr's C3 West Coast Conference.[3] The church has its 10am service broadcast locally in San Diego by KPRZ 1210 AM.[4]

Pastor Sergio De La Mora was the main preacher at the Planetshakers on 11 April 2010.

De La Mora, the senior pastor of the largest Latino-led church in San Diego had been recently named president of The Hispanic Mega Church Association.

In 2019, Sergio de La Mora and an assistant, named TJ, were criticized on Instagram stemming from a tweet De la Mora posted, that blamed immigrant parents for not having a plan “B”, with TJ asking if the reposter had been raped in church to be so hurt. The ensuing backlash resulted in the two fleeing to Hawaii for a month and a half.

Once touted as having the 3rd fastest growing church in America, Cornerstone Church filed for bankruptcy, in 2020, and changed their name to Heart Revolution Church, due to numerous allegations of scandals & multiple affairs.

Sergio De La Mora's most recent extramarital affair was publicly exposed mid-March 2020. The affair with his close friend, David Swifts wife Pastor Chantel Swift (@davidswift_ , see latest Instagram for evidence) will have the most damning effect on what once was once believed to be a healthy growing community of believers.

Each time these historical facts are deleted MORE details will be presented.., Screenshot of the text message is next. His yes men.. can’t protect him here. Just making it worse.

All lies Pastor Georgina just wanted a way out to take Pastor for all he gets.
