M. Saud Anwar is a Pakistani-American doctor and politician, who is currently serving as a State Senator in the Conneticut State Senate, representing the 3rd District, a seat he has held since 2019. A member of the democratic party, Anwar previously served as the mayor of East Windsor, Conneticut. A pulmonary doctor by profession, he is a graduate of Yale University and Aga Khan University. He has two children.
