General elections were held in Denmark on 15 November 1960.[1] The Social Democratic Party remained the largest in the Folketing , with 76 of the 179 seats. Voter turnout was 85.8% in Denmark proper, 57.1% in the Faroe Islands and 65.8% in Greenland .[2] The vote threshold was 60,000 votes until 1961 when it changed to 2% of the votes.
