In the Church of England, the bishop of Ebbsfleet is a provincial episcopal visitor for the whole Province of Canterbury, licensed by the Archbishop of Canterbury as a "flying bishop" to visit parishes throughout the province who are uncomfortable with the ministrations of their local bishop who has participated in the ordination of women.
