Coordinate error

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for the location of the 1913 Ais Gill rail accident:

Correct location is: 54.3688N,-2.3495W 54.368470|-2.349350

I have studied a DVD of the line taken from the cab of a train, along with actual contemporary photographs of the accident - there is no doubt that this is the correct location

Excellent work! I've refined it a little more (about 50m further south) based upon the maps in the PDF of the official report, which is linked in the External Links section. Best regards, TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 16:46, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The link labelled "The Mallerstang section of the Settle-Carlisle line: including a commemoration (and a list of names) of all those who lost their lives during its construction and in subsequent accidents" linking to http://www.mallerstang.com/pm-settle-carlisle.htm returns 404. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8B0:135B:8FE2:A005:9078:B32B:36D5 (talk) 09:54, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
