The link given for "the actual Ampico site" redirects to http://bibliquest.org/. I have deleted it.

The case history at http://www.pianolasociety.com/ampico.pdf seems to document the company's demise, as part of the general consolidation of piano companies as described at the Pianola Institute link given in the preceding section.
