Bermuda has a negative population growth rate and the Cayman Islands surpassed Bermuda years ago. Cayman's population in its 2021 Census was 71,432 (https://www.eso.ky/user_images/census_2021/Section_1.1.pdf) and it was reported a year ago that the population had increased further to 78,554 (https://www.caymancompass.com/2022/08/31/caymans-population-grows-by-10-5-in-less-than-a-year/).

Cayman is not known by that name except to Americans who say it in deliberate contempt of the actual name. It is considered offensive by Caymanians, any tourist visiting is corrected, and I doubt it was added by someone with good intentions. The article does not need this demeaning nickname for any reason.
