  • 22:1622:16, 16 March 2022 diff hist +50 Ross Ulbricht→‎After the conviction: Fixed legal inaccuracies. It's a supplemental filing that Ulbricht filed after Bilton's VF piece. That was to seek the source of Bilton's so-called claim. His motion to vacate or reduce his sentence had been filed a long time ago already. Replaced "plea deal" with "plea offer," which is how Howard words it (they're not the same thing)

And purpose of Ulbricht's supplemental filing was to seek if any 10-year plea deal ever existed since no such offer was extended to him. Howard confirmed no such offer existed)

  • 14:2814:28, 28 January 2021 diff hist −608 Ross UlbrichtThis is straight from a Vanity Fair piece. Bilton himself does not cite any source to back this up. If this claim is really true, then please use Courtlistener or any news article as a source. This is false information, anyone who followed the case knows this. • 20:3820:38, 27 January 2021 diff hist −608 Ross Ulbricht→‎Trial: Ulbricht was not offered any kind of 10-year plea deal (from the get-go, prosecutors made it clear they would recommend life). This kind of factual errors reflects poorly on WIkipedia. It cannot be backed up with any reliable source, let alone legal ones. In WP:RSP, Vanity fair is listed as "generally reliable for popular culture." This is a legal case. Please find a reliable source to back this up. Tags: Reverted references removed
