::No, you started this. WP:TPO clearly states: "Never edit or move someone's comment to change its meaning, even on your own talk page." I'll stay off your talk page just as soon as you acknowledge your action was wrong. That was not "refactoring". By moving it and changing the context, you changed its intended meaning from discussing a single editor's behavior to a more generalized post addressed to people I did not intend to address. Why would you think you have the right to do that? I'd like an apology. Skyerise (talk) 09:00, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

Before posting on this page, ask yourself...

Would it be more appropriate to make your post on an article talk page instead of here? Feel free to ping me from an article talk page, or notify me here about a discussion going on elsewhere.

@Polygnotus: I moved this thread to Talk:E-meter#Polygraph.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 07:12, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Grorp, as described at the bottom of the recent edit-warring noticeboard discussion, I have removed some examples of unproductive remarks by all mentioned editors in Special:Diff/1194995281. Best regards, ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:38, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Changing citation style

(moved to article talk page where it should have been posted)

@Grorp:: "established" in the context of the guideline means established by the original editor. The reason for it is they are also the most likely editor to expand the article. I want to see my multiple-use refs in a list. In fact, I may move all the citations to sfnp style over time, the use of <ref> tags was only for convenience moving citations from other articles. I prefer a full alphabetized list of sources under "works cited". And since I cited the article, I'm the one that gets to choose. Same as WP:ENGVAR, etc. And this discussion is not about content and belongs on your talk page where I started the conversation. It's simply not relevant to the other editors at the article talk page. You do not have my permission to move this comment. Skyerise (talk) 09:31, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page violations WP:TPO

You do not get to move other editor's talk page comments. You can remove them from your own talk page, but you cannot simply move them to another page. See WP:TALK, especially WP:TPO. It's extremely rude to do so. Who do you think you are? That comment was specificially for you because it addressed a single-editor behavior issue, not a content issue. I made no mistake about where I placed it. Skyerise (talk) 08:48, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Refactoring talk pages, Relocating material to different sections or pages where it is more appropriate.
Now get off my page with your outrage.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 08:55, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
