If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

• To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:

  This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
• If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
• If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

  For MOS:ALLCAPS what sources use doesn't matter. Companies should only use all caps if the name is an acronym or initialism, which doesn't appear to be the case here. Bensci54 (talk) 16:27, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

• NOBULL (currently a redirect to Nobull) → Nobull (move · discuss) – based on previous discussions of trying to move NoBull to NOBULL, commenters suggested moving to Nobull would adhere to Wikipedia styling guidelines, so am requesting a page move to uppercase N, lowercase remaining letters, Nobull similar to other brands. • Cherubim and Seraphim (Nigerian church) (currently a redirect to Cherubim and Seraphim) → Cherubim and Seraphim (move · discuss) – The non-bracketed form was a redirect to a list of Inspector Morse episodes. I moved this page to Cherubim and Seraphim (Inspector Morse episode) and changed the wikilinks for everything related. There are Wikilinks that point there for the church, however I'm unable to move the church there without copy/pasting. UaMaol (talk) 18:12, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

• Serviceton railway line → Ararat railway line (currently a redirect instead to Ballarat V/Line rail service) (move · discuss) – Revamped the article as the line has not been known as the "Serviceton railway line" since 1995, when the line past Ararat was converted to standard gauge and reopened as part of the then-new Western standard gauge line.   Looking at the official V/Line maps, I can't find evidence of individual V/Lines having official names, do you have sources for "Ararat railway line" being the WP:COMMONNAME? Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 16:53, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

  This article is about the physical rail line, not the V/Line service which runs on it. Both terminate at Ararat, since the rest of physical rail line was converted to standard gauge and connected to other lines to form the Western standard gauge railway line. As for V/Line, they treat their passenger service to Ararat as an extension of the Ballarat V/Line rail service (you can see that on the map you've linked, and the fact Ararat services share the Ballarat V/Line twitter account, or the fact vline.com.au only shows Ararat services after you click Ballarat, etc), so it's documented on that page instead.   If Mylėk is turned into a redirect to its creator Vilija Matačiūnaitė, perhaps the film should be moved to Mylek or MyLek. (I turned the former into a dab before realizing this.) Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 16:23, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

  And if it isn't, per WP:SMALLDIFFERENCES, the film should be at MyLek (or Mylek (film)). The only question is which capitalization of the title is the most used, as the film's official material appears to use a mixed-script title that obviously can't be our article title. • Professional Golfers' Association of America → PGA of America (currently a redirect back to Professional Golfers' Association of America) (move · discuss) – Redirect between these two pages is backwards. @Kevinjscott This is definitely not uncontroversial. Please start an WP:RM for this if you want to continue. Acronyms are usually not used in page titles (see MOS:ACROTITLE) unless the topic is primarily known as the acronym (e.g. NASA). A similar move request was proposed on NBA a few months ago and did not succeed, so I doubt this one will. C F A 💬 14:55, 4 July 2024 (UTC)

21 Andromedae; searches show that some pages use the former term and others (including NASA) use the target term, and so the common name cannot be established. Maybe start a requested move? Toadette^Edit! 18:14, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

• Wallace and Gromit → Wallace & Gromit (currently a redirect back to Wallace and Gromit) (move · discuss) – As discussed on the talk page, the franchise is only ever referred to with an ampersand, which matches the titling of other IPs with Wikipedia articles such as Thomas & Friends, Mario & Luigi, etc. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 21:04, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

  @SleepDeprivedGinger: This had a 2017 requested move that reached no consensus, leaned toward opposition according to the closer, and provided evidence that it isn't "only ever referred to with an ampersand". As a controversial move, this will require a new requested-move discussion. You should read that 2017 RM and consider whether to open a new RM discussion. SilverLocust 💬 21:25, 5 July 2024 (UTC)

This is not always a proper noun. Even in the article, both capitalizations are used. You'll have to start a WP:RM for this. C F A 💬 17:30, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
