Zeishan Quadri is an Indian writer who writes screenplays for Bollywood.He is known for writing the story of Gangs of Wasseypur.

Early life

He was born in Wasseypur,Jharkhand.He spent his formative years in Wasseypur, Jharkhand, known for the bloody rivalry between gangster Faheem Khan and businessman Sabir Alam over scrap business. He did his schooling in Dhanbad. He left Dhanbad in 2001 and from then is just roaming about. Sometime for studies, he came to Patna for giving entrance exams of all sorts, and then stayed in Orissa for a year and half, then he was in Bangalore, then in Meerut for more than two years - and then to Delhi. He had been working in a call centre in Delhi for over a year - 18 months . And then he went to Mumbai, to be an actor.[2] He is addicted to the works of Majid Majidi, Fatih Akin, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese.

Career

He brought the real story of gang war on big screen with Gangs of Wasseypur and says he is equipped with proofs to prove his point."I have proofs, I have paper cuttings with all the dates and incidents mentioned in them. So people can't say what I'm saying in the movie, didn't happen. I can prove my point," Zeishan told .[3] He also acted in that movie.
