The engine itself is a custom-built Audi 4.0 L V8 made of four valves per cylinder, air restricted to 2 x 28 mm by regulations, 90 degree V-angle. Audi RS5 DTM car has power output approximately 500 hp (373 kW; 507 PS) and torque 500 N⋅m (370 ft⋅lbf). Audi RS5 DTM's engine position is front engined. Audi RS5 DTM engine is Fuel injected delivery and has 9,000 rpm rev.
