@Bibliomaniac15: in order to save tedious manual work here, is it possible to delete the category and recreate/repopulate it with just NTA Film Network, List of former NTA Film Network affiliates in the United States, Alex in Wonderland (TV series), List of former NTA Film Network affiliates in Canada, List of programs broadcast by the NTA Film Network and National Telefilm Associates? @Fayenatic london: this category is very large, so it is quite unlikely that anyone will ever systematically review all content. Should we just assume that the relevant articles will have been purged on an incidental basis during the previous 3 years? - Thanks for the reminder, Marcocapelle. I've reinstated the template for now. The category does need work, (i) to remove songs that are in a sub-cat (e.g. http://petscan1.wmflabs.org/?psid=15019145 ), and (ii) to review what remains per the CFD. E.g. I have just removed Kiss (Prince song), which appeared to be categorised because "a bit of the song was heard in the film" (& there was no apparent rationale for animated films [1]).
- I think Songs from animated films should certainly be renamed "Songs written for…", e.g. Changes (David Bowie song) was in Shrek 2 but not written for it. Perhaps we need a nomination for the animated category, and in the discussion we could raise whether all the film-specific sub-cats should be renamed too; that might be overkill.
