I want to use this tool to make reverting vandalism quicker, especially if they are consecutive. I am against vandalism on Wikipedia and this tool will do great wonders for me. I think I'll decline it then: "I also need this tool to revert unsourced good faith edits"? No, but you'll need to have a look at WP:ROLLBACKUSE. The tool Twinkle, which you already have access to, provides what you're looking for. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:07, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've been here for quite some time now, experiencing and learning something new every other day, and Wikipedia has become a part of my regime. I happen to revert vandalism since the very beginning, sometimes manually or by using undo and twinkle alternatively. Now I would like to request for the rollback right for accessing useful plus important features of reverting vandalism in a more better, neat and transparent way. I am cordially requesting rollback permissions in order to be able to use valuable tools such as Huggle and SWViewer. Both tools, which require rollback, would allow me to patrol RC in a more expeditious way. Additionally, I have been offering up a demonstrated effort to be clearer in my edit summaries, particularly for edits I have reverted that I believe have demonstrated Good Faith (for the edit summary to be beneficial & informative for everyone who sees it). I understand how important explanatory edit summaries are. For those edits that appear well-intentioned but require further investigation, I have done my due diligence to warn the user on their talk page as needed, and in the event of repeated vandalism (or a pattern of non-constructive editing behavior), I have reported to WP:AIV as necessary. For any and all accidental reverts, I would rightfully revert my edits and provide the appropriate edit summary.

Hello, I have been on Wikipedia for more than a year now, and honestly, most of my edits are minor edits and reverting vandalism. I have used the button "undo" to revert vandal edits, but mang times, I have seen multiple vandal edits, and it is extremely difficult and quite painful to revert them one-by-one, and often, I have to revert them manually. I have intentions to do good to Wikipedia. You may check out my contributions here.

Hello, I ask for the RB permission again ; last month, I had it for trial of 1 month in order to help against vandalism using Huggle. I wasn't there every day, but I tried to be active on my free time and to help as I could. So this time, I ask again for this permission. It would make it easier for me to get more involved in anti-vandalism as I would be able to use poweruser/more powerful features on tools such as RCPatrol, RedWarn and Twinkle. I regularly patrol UK Rail related wiki pages, which are often subject to speculation and unsourced additions by both registered and IP editors. Use of Rollback would assist in cases where unsourced or problematic content is added to articles on my watchlist, and I cannot immediately find suitable sources.
