Rollback

Hello, I have been doing the work of removing vandalism on English Wikipedia for many days and this work is still going on. To make this task easier, I am enrolling for rollbackers.-MP1999 talk 11:59, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to accept or decline this right now, but feel free to ping me once you're done your CVUA with Zippybonzo and I'll take another look. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 22:56, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'd rather they waited until they graduated as some of their answers currently aren't fully correct. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 04:36, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Zippybonzo:, any update here? This request is by far the stalest thing on this board currently. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:57, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not exactly, I’m still waiting for them to finish a CSD activity. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 00:29, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Marking this as  Not done for now, as they do not appear to be very active. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 15:43, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to obtain rollback permissions because I can better take action against disruptive editing and vandalism with it better. I wish to also use this with the Redwarn tool. Noorullah (talk) 13:46, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) I say Sorry for comment here but I don't think he is eligible for rollback right because his usertalkpage received WP:3RR in past few weeks ago and he not revert more vandalism, spam, promotion edits on en. Wikipedia, so I request to an admin please see their user contribution and usertalk history first then think for grant this right.🥇ÀvîRâm7(talk)🩺 06:07, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Some more context of the dispute here that user @Aviram7 mentioned, the 3RR dispute was settled. (It was also not 3RR, since it needed to be over three reverts, and I had done only two.) This is a link to the talk page on my profile before we moved to the page of the dispute where it was settled: [1] Here is the page the dispute was settled. [2]

(Since I just wish to clear this up, also tagging you.)

@Noorullah21: Thanks for commenting here

if you say these probelm has been solved butI am not an administrator who can grant you rollback rights, please wait for an admin who review your request at any time and he decide to grant you rollback right or not. 🥇ÀvîRâm7(talk)🩺 04:52, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Aviram7 Yeah no problem, I know you're not an administrator, just wanted to clear it up. Thanks for sharing your concern since its important to people who request rollback rights. Noorullah (talk) 05:24, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Between the edit warring and the copyright issues in recent history, I just don't think you are quite ready for this yet. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:56, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request this role, i made a bunch of reverts using redwarn or twinkle, so it would make sense to have the rollback role. Notrealname1234 (talk) 16:54, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Automated comment This user does not appear to have the permission rollback. MusikBot talk 18:50, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Wikipedia administrators,

I am writing to request the "Rollback" feature permission. I have been editing Wikipedia for over a year and have made over 800+ edits to the mainspace. I have a good understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and I am familiar with the process of reverting vandalism. I have also completed the counter-vandalism training program.

I believe that the "Rollback" feature would be a valuable addition to my editing toolkit. It would allow me to more quickly and efficiently remove vandalism from Wikipedia pages. I would also be able to use it to help other editors who are new to counter-vandalism.

I understand that the "Rollback" feature is not granted to all editors. However, I believe that I have demonstrated the necessary skills and experience to be a responsible user of this tool. I am committed to using the "Rollback" feature in a fair and impartial manner.

I would be grateful if you would consider my request. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely, TruxtVerified (talk) 06:57, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Automated comment This user has had 2 requests for rollback declined in the past 90 days ([3][4]). MusikBot talk 07:00, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not done you were blocked for edit warring only four days ago. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 15:35, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Seeming desperate to get a user right is the surest way to not get it, and as you can see, the bot informs us of the recently denied requests, so you can't get away with just asking until someone does it. Beeblebrox (talk) 15:46, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a prolific editor and article creator who already has autopatrolled rights who is constantly fighting vandalism with Twinkle and who I see would benefit greatly from having rollback rights. Thepharoah17 (talk) 08:08, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Coincidentally, I was planning to make this request myself at some point. I believe rollback would come in handy, since I've been dealing with vandalism and what not quite for some time. Aintabli (talk) 21:38, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I currently use Twinkle to revert vandalism, but I'd like to try out other counter-vandalism tools. ARandomName123 (talk) 17:28, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've used twinkle for a while, so it would be great to have the rollback right. A lot of pages on my watchlist tend to be vandalized every so often, so it'd help to have this. Plus I've never been banned in my wiki career. -- ZooBlazertalk 04:03, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
