Sanvikaa (born Pooja Singh[1] on January 8, 1990) is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi web series. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Rinki in the series Panchayat 2.[2]
Early life
Sanvikaa was born Pooja Singh on January 8, 1990, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. She completed her primary education and later obtained an engineering degree in Jabalpur. Despite her parents' aspirations for her to pursue a stable job, Sanvikaa decided to follow her passion for the entertainment industry.[3]
Career
Sanvikaa moved to Mumbai, where she stayed with a friend already working in the entertainment industry. With encouragement from her friend, she began her career as an outfit assistant director. While working behind the scenes, she started auditioning for acting roles. Within ten days, she secured her first role in a commercial advertisement.[4]
Her significant breakthrough came with the web series Panchayat 2, where she portrayed the character of Rinki. Her performance was well-received by the audience, earning her widespread acclaim and the affectionate title of "National Crush." The popularity of her character led to numerous fan interactions on social media, including marriage proposals.[5]
Following her success in Panchayat 2, Sanvikaa received several offers for other significant projects. She continued to build her career with roles in various web series, including Lakhan Leela Bhargava (2023), Hajamat (2023), and Panchayat Season 3 (2024).
