Jason William Krizan (born June 28, 1989 in Austin, Texas) is a professional baseball outfielder for the Detroit Tigers organization. At Dallas Baptist University, Krizan was named a First-Team All-American in his senior season.

Career

Krizan attended Pflugerville High School in Pflugerville, Texas and Dallas Baptist University, where he played college baseball for the Dallas Baptist Patriots. He set a NCAA record with 39 doubles as he was named an All-American by Baseball America.[1]

The Detroit Tigers drafted Krizan in the eighth round (257th overall) of the 2011 MLB Draft. He signed with the Tigers and made his professional debut with the West Michigan Whitecaps of the Class-A Midwest League.
