Birth year confusion

[edit]

The birth year is going to cause some headache for people who take a cursory look at the linked records.

We know Barnett died in 1918. October possibly late september.
The funeral notices list his Father as F. H. Barnett
Scrum.com tells us he was born in Tuena, which is a town in Carcoar district
BDM search in NSW shows us that a John Thomas Barnett was born in 1880!!! to Francis Henry and Mary Barnett.
Both the [olympics dbase] and the[scrum.com website] website correlate the Jan 19 birthdate.
For all these reasons I am editing his birthdate to be 19 January 1880.
It will be an interesting citation when I am done though! SauliH (talk) 06:08, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
