Sorry I don't know how to use Wiki properly, but Jacob Middagh was hung together with another named Jacobus Roosa in 1777 https://thesquaredealer.wordpress.com/tag/revolutionary-war/ It's also detailed about Roosa in the existing wiki reference used for Middagh.

Can someone post crimes that made killers eligable for the death penalty in New York before it was suspended? I would like to know how the sniper who murdered an abortion doctor in Buffalo was eligable, though it was eventually discarded, for it when his was a 'simple' murder.

Zev steinhardt (talk) 01:57, 10 November 2009 (UTC) Shouldn't the Rosenberg's not be on this list. IIRC, they were executed by the Federal Government, not by the State of New York.[reply]
